"Frame" is a series that transforms traditional wall-based collages into sculptural forms by encapsulating them within cast acrylic. Composed of layered works on paper and wood, each piece challenges the boundaries of painting and collage, recontextualizing them in three dimensions. By preserving these elements in acrylic, the series invites viewers to engage with the materiality of the image as object—fixed, dimensional, and luminous. Created in collaboration with Midton, Frame pushes the physical and conceptual limits of painting, suspending the act of composition in time and space.
