A note on Printmaking (2023)

My evolving relation to screen-print comes through an interest in pictorial and material abstraction, allowing me to present an altered physicality of mood or object. I print in a way which rejects traditional Fine Art notions of registration, editioning and mass production. My prints are often modular artists proofs- unique one of a kind pieces which are grouped into collections.

Traditionally, the perception of printmaking is that it is a Bi-Product of another discipline such as drawing or painting, I seek to confuse such assumptions, pushing the boundaries of the traditional medium in tandem with sculptural processes such as casting or installation art.
